Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Janis Tamargo, the operator of PrintDeck ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using PrintDeck — the web app, mobile app, or any related service — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Short version: Use PrintDeck for your legitimate print shop business. Don't abuse the service or misuse other people's data. Pay your subscription when billing starts. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms. Your shop data is yours — we're just holding it for you.
1. What PrintDeck is
PrintDeck is a cloud-based production management tool designed for small FDM 3D print shops. It helps you track orders, manage inventory, understand your costs, and run Oliver — an AI-powered shop advisor. PrintDeck is currently in private beta.
PrintDeck is a business management tool, not a financial advisor. The floor prices, margins, and cost estimates it produces are based on the data you enter and are intended to help you make better decisions — they are not professional financial advice. You are responsible for the pricing decisions you make for your business.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at getprintdeck@gmail.com.
Each account is tied to a single shop. If you operate multiple shops and need separate accounts, contact us.
3. Acceptable use
You may use PrintDeck for lawful business purposes related to running your 3D print shop. You agree not to:
- Use the service to store or transmit anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive
- Attempt to access another shop's data or circumvent PrintDeck's security measures
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the PrintDeck software
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the service in ways that damage its availability for others
- Submit false, misleading, or deliberately inaccurate data to manipulate Oliver's outputs
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
4. Oliver and AI features
Oliver is an AI advisor powered by Anthropic's Claude. His insights, alerts, and cost estimates are generated from the data you enter and are designed to help — but they are not guaranteed to be accurate. Oliver can make mistakes. You should use your own judgment before acting on anything Oliver tells you.
By using Oliver, you acknowledge that relevant portions of your shop data are transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's use of that data is governed by their Privacy Policy. We do not use your shop data to train AI models.
5. Subscription and payment
PrintDeck is currently free during the private beta. When paid plans are introduced, you'll be notified in advance with pricing, what's included in each tier, and the date billing begins. Beta users receive founder pricing — a permanent discount on whichever plan they choose — as a thank-you for being early.
Once billing is live:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose
- You can cancel at any time — your access continues through the end of the paid period
- Refunds are handled case-by-case; contact us within 7 days of a charge if you have a concern
- Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details
6. Your data
Your shop data — orders, products, customers, inventory, expenses, and everything else you enter into PrintDeck — belongs to you. We store it on your behalf and use it only to provide the service. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export or request deletion of your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on how to do that.
7. Intellectual property
PrintDeck — the software, design, branding, and Oliver's personality — is owned by Janis Tamargo. These Terms don't give you any rights to use our name, logo, or trademarks beyond what's needed to use the service normally.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into PrintDeck. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data for the purpose of running PrintDeck for you.
8. Uptime and availability
We aim to keep PrintDeck available and reliable, but we can't guarantee it. Planned maintenance, unexpected outages, or third-party service issues (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic) may affect availability. We'll communicate planned downtime when possible.
PrintDeck is currently in beta. Features may change, bugs may exist, and capabilities may be added or removed. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes.
9. Limitation of liability
PrintDeck is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to lost profits, business decisions made based on Oliver's outputs, or data loss due to outages or technical failures.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of PrintDeck will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or $50 if you haven't paid anything).
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. If your account is terminated for cause, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period.
When an account is closed (by you or by us), your data will be retained for up to 30 days in case of an error or dispute, then deleted. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Georgia, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
12. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll notify active users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect, and we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PrintDeck after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
